APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY
First Time Offered in Australia!
Certificate in Positive Business and Society Change
No need to travel overseas to gain the world leading qualification in Appreciative Inquiry. Be taught by Prof. Ron Fry, the co-founder of Appreciative Inquiry. Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Business, and Business as an Agent of World Benefit, now offer the Appreciative Inquiry Certificate in Positive Business and Society Change in Australia in collaboration with Positive Leadership Pty Ltd. Why is it that strategic planning experiences end with a great list of 'should do's' that seem irrelevant when people get back to the desk the next day? The answer lies in the questions we ask. Strategy as usual involves the gap analysis between current and future states and a downward spiralling deficit dialogue about what we don't have, don't do, or do badly. Focusing on solving problems can only lead to the less than inspiring potential of the absence of the problems. Neuroscience now substantiates that when in problem solving mode our brains are shut down to the innovative, creative thinking required for realising potential. Increasingly, Appreciative Inquiry is informing strategic change initiatives that rigorously analyse what is causal to 'extra'-ordinary success, define what positively distinguishes a business, and build strategic initiatives to replicate, build upon and leverage the talent and potential of the organisation. Appreciative Inquiry was developed at Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Business) and is used by the United Nations to address world peace and the impact of business on global sustainability, as well as by many organisations internationally where strategy as usual has not delivered. Join a small, select group as the first cohort of Australians to study with Prof Ron Fry in Australia to earn the Certificate. Alternatively, join us for the first part: Foundations and Frontiers in Appreciative Inquiry.
Designed by AI co-creators Dr. David Cooperrider and Dr. Ronald Fry, this program presents a proven approach to accelerating organisational change by redirecting focus to core strengths.
